The QSM11 engine is a 4-stroke, in-line 6-cylinder engine with a displacement of 10.8 liters (659 cubic inches).


It is equipped with advanced fuel injection technology, including a high-pressure common rail fuel system, which ensures precise and efficient fuel delivery for optimal performance and fuel economy. The engine also features an electronic control module (ECM) that continuously monitors and adjusts engine parameters to optimize performance and meet emission regulations.

One of the key highlights of the QSM11 engine is its power output. It is available in multiple power ratings, ranging from 290 horsepower (216 kW) to 400 horsepower (298 kW), with torque ratings from 1050 lb-ft (1424 Nm) to 1350 lb-ft (1830 Nm). This impressive power range makes the QSM11 suitable for a wide range of applications, from heavy-duty hauling to demanding construction tasks.

The QSM11 engine incorporates several design features that enhance its durability and reliability. It has a high-strength cast-iron cylinder block, which provides excellent rigidity and resistance to thermal stress. The engine also features replaceable wet liners for easy maintenance and extended engine life. Additionally, the QSM11 uses a piston cooling jet system to regulate piston temperature and optimize engine performance.

To meet stringent emission standards, the QSM11 engine is equipped with Cummins' advanced aftertreatment system, including a diesel particulate filter (DPF) and selective catalytic reduction (SCR) technology.
